The 2005 West Country Tour

We are delighted to confirm details of the 2005 tour on 6-8 August.

We will be playing two games in Gloucestershire and Bristol: Uley CC will be our hosts on Sunday 7th August, and this will be followed by a 35 over match vs Failand & Portbury Cricket Club on Monday 8th.

In addition, we know that a number of tourists are keen to meet up on the Saturday and play an “inter-Insignificants” game – we’ll confirm this nearer the time. Alternatively there is Polo to watch near Highgrove, or the Test Match on the telly or just some high quality loafing.

We currently have 15 tourists but knowing how hopeless many of us are there is plenty of room for more. Feel free to pass on the invitation to anyone suitable…

We’ll also now look into tour caps and shirts and let you know.
